Screen scheme allows you to see the screen when an issue is created, edited, or viewed in JIRA<\/a> or perform a particular operation on the issue. Screen schemes can be associated to more than one project. The three basic operations on an issue are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Create issue: The screen that can be seen when an issue is created.<\/li>
  2. Edit issue: The screen that can be seen when an issue is edited.<\/li>
  3. View issue: The screen that can be seen when a user views the issue.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    How to add a Screen Scheme?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    1. Go to Settings > Issues.<\/li>
    2. Select Screens > Screen Schemes in the sidebar available on the left.<\/li>
    3. Click the Add Screen Scheme button.<\/li>
    4. Enter the required fields like name, description, and select the necessary Default Screen option.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      5. Click on the Add button. This will add the screen scheme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      How to edit a Screen scheme?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      1. Go to Settings > Issues.<\/li>
      2. Select Screens > Screen Schemes in the sidebar available on the left.<\/li>
      3. Click Edit, and you will be redirected to the Edit Screen Page.<\/li>
      4. Edit the name and description as needed.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        How to delete a Screen scheme?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        1. Go to Settings > Issues.<\/li>
        2. Select Screens > Screen Schemes in the sidebar available on the left.<\/li>
        3. Click the Delete button to delete the desired screen scheme and confirm your deletion.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          How to copy a Screen Scheme?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
          1. Go to Settings > Issues.<\/li>
          2. Select Screens > Screen Schemes in the sidebar available on the left.<\/li>
          3. Click the copy button on the scheme you want to copy, and you will be redirected to the Copy Screen Page.<\/li>
          4. Enter the name and description and click the Copy button.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            Configuring a Screen Scheme: <\/strong>Configuring Screen Scheme option will be available once the screen scheme has been added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Associating an Issue Operation and a Screen:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
            1. Go to Settings > Issues.<\/li>
            2. Select Screens > Screen Schemes in the sidebar available on the left.<\/li>
            3. Click Configure link available next to the Screen Scheme.<\/li>
            4. Click Associate an Issue Operation with a Screen.<\/li>
            5. Select the desired Issue Operation option.<\/li>
            6. Click Add.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
