It is a sprint-based approach to provide the most outstanding value of the product to stakeholders.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 1 \u2013 Build the team, Identify the roles.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To do this, you\u2019d need to identify the following<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identify the scrum master&nbsp; &#8211; A scrum master coaches the team and is in charge of binding the team as per the Agile principles in an ever-improving manner. They assist the PO, help the development team in delivering value. They also facilitate the ceremonies, help remove any impediments that come in the way of the group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you ever planned a<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.h2kinfosys.com\/courses\/agile-scrum-training-online-course-details\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\">career in Scrum master<\/a><\/strong>, I must say it is an exciting role! A scrum master plays a vital role in the scrum team, and scrum master training can help you master that art.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><strong>Identify the people who do the work to build the product. <\/strong>This team should be self-organizing, responsive, and flexible to change.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>&nbsp;Identify the Product Owner \u2013 The Product Owner will act as a bridge between the team and the customer. They convey the prioritized set of requirements of the customer to the team.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 2 &#8211; Educate the team about the Scrum Agile way of working.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that the team is ready,&nbsp; it would be great to educate the team on the Scrum agile way of working. Understanding the agile principles is vital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For this, the organization can work towards supporting the team in completing an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.h2kinfosys.com\/courses\/agile-scrum-training-online-course-details\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\">agile scrum certification online<\/a><\/strong>. A certified team will help build the brand of the company with a set of well-informed practitioners. Also, with this, a customer will have more confidence in handing over their project for execution to an accredited team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 3 \u2013 Decide on the tools that the team plans to use.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Tools power the team. <strong>Hence choose the best tools that work for your team. <\/strong>Eventually, they help increase the productivity of the group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;For example, tools such as the following are great choices \u2013 Jira, Asana, Monday.com, ClickUp, GitHub, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;The advantages of using these tools are \u2013<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There is a better understanding of resource productivity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There is a better understanding of the project status.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Everyone is aware &#8211; anybody can log in to understand what is happening in the project.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Increased transparency<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It keeps the team collaborating efficiently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 4 \u2013 Schedule the ceremonies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>An agile scrum team needs to schedule on their calendar the scrum rituals.<\/strong> The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrum.org\/resources\/what-is-scrum\" class=\"rank-math-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">scrum master<\/a> facilitates these meetings to run successfully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sprint Planning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Daily Scrum<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sprint Review<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sprint Retrospective<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These meetings help keep the whole team informed in a timed fashion, creating a shared objective and vision and team progress with all team members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 5 \u2013 Define the definition of done.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Before the team starts on an agile scrum project, they need to decide how to define &#8220;done.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Definition of Done is a set of agreed-upon requirements which declare a particular task as &#8220;completed.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, the team can build a list to check the following.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is the code peer-reviewed?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Is the code checked in?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is the code deployed?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Has the feature passed testing?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Is The code documented?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have the Stakeholders given their approval for the feature? And more&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 6 \u2013 Build the Backlog. Keep the Backlog organized.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Backlog is a prioritized list of items of work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Product Owner should ensure that the Backlog is built as per the customer&#8217;s requirements and is organized based on priority conveyed by the customer<\/strong>. To make it happen, the PO would need to be fully aware of the business requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those backlog items that a team will be working on shortly should contain enough information to get started. This is what the PO should ensure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 7 &#8211; Plan the Sprint \u2013 Clarify.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>Plan the sprint new sprint<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the sprint planning, decide which product backlog items the team will work on during that Sprint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The team accordingly breaks down the items into tasks and estimates the time they will complete them. What have they achieved since the last meeting?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. What will they achieve before the next meeting?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Is anything holding up their progress?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tracking progress is vital to understand where the team stands in achieving the sprint goal. It helps understand the team&#8217;s velocity and anticipate their success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;During the Sprint, the team should ensure that they update their progress so that the burndown chart reflects that progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 9 \u2013 Perform the Demo<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conduct the Demo at the end of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.h2kinfosys.com\/blog\/what-is-sprint-velocity-of-a-sprint\/\" class=\"rank-math-link\">Sprint<\/a><\/strong>. This helps the customer understand what the team completed and how the product operates.
