What is the role of a business analyst?

A business analyst is a member of a project team who is responsible for analysing a business and gathering requirements to enhance business processes. The BA is responsible for being in between stakeholders and the technical team. They should understand the structures, operations and policies as how the business operates and what it needs to be done? Besides, the BA should recommend the solution to a business problem to enhance the business process.

Why is BA needed for the IT industry?

In this role, you are responsible for working with a manager in the development and the implementation of new products. This role is responsible for analysing instance reports, operational processes and supporting the operations by performing manual tasks.

Reporting analyst:

In this role, you are responsible for designing new reports, running existing reports.
